YEAR 11 pupils at Mill School Bury gained more than 100 qualifications over the last academic year. Their impressive ‘haul’ saw them gain an average of 10 qualifications per pupil.
Highlights across the school included:
- 114 qualifications in total gained across the school
- 61 GCSEs achieved across all pupils
- GCSEs were gained in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Double Science, PE, History, Geography, Art & Design, Computer Science and iMedia
- 92% of pupils gained qualifications in English, Maths and Science
In individual successes, four pupils gained more than seven GCSEs at Grades 4-9 each. This includes one pupil who achieved a Grade 7/7 in Double Science and a Grade 8 in Computer Science.
Alongside academic achievements, a number of pupils also gained BTEC qualifications in Home Cooking Level 1 and Level 2. Other qualifications included PE, Arts Awards and Sports Leader awards.
Pupils are aiming to continue their education and complete a range of college courses next year.
